Finel Coffee Percolator - Antti Nurmesniemi
Another fab coffee perc for sale - have listed it on ebay. The colour is divine, olive green.
I've been a bit remiss on the blog of late as I've been working on a forum upgrade - finally all done by the looks.
Also came across a pair of huge Kava bowls recently - these are a massive 71cm across. Will do some more research into these before they go on the market as they appear quite old.

I bought this lot yesterday afternoon from a new customer. A lovely Crown Lynn McAlpine fridge jug, a Crown Lynn teapot (made for Barbara's) and a nice Titian jug.
I'm based in Remuera, Auckland and more than happy to offer you a quote to purchase any collectable items you no longer want. Just email collectiques@woosh.co.nz

I found this lovely little vase from Finland today. With the assistance of a friends international pottery forum - I found out that it's an early Arabia piece http://potteryandglass.forumandco.com/ - Thanks for the help guys :)
Also came across a nice set of Orrefors Fuga.
The Fuga series won Sven Palmqvist the Grand Prix at the Milan Triennale of 1957. This glass design was made using centrifical force - quite ingenious.

I haven't been out and about yet but
just thought I'd share a few more
finds from over the last couple of weeks.
To the left a gorgeous Stelton condiment set.
Aren't the proportions great! I just love the design.
To the right a lovely brown enamel coffee pot. The coffee pot is unmarked but more than likely Finel by Antti Nurmesniemi. This is the larger size at about 19cms high.

A few more interesting discoveries
A wonderful Brexton picnic hamper - just fabulous! The perfect picnic set for vintage car enthusiasts.
This morning I came across a lovely lustre vase. I've always been particularly fond of old lustre pieces. What I mean is - aren't those lustre vases just wonderful with or without the flowers.
Right I'm off now time for a bit of work. I have a few ideas that I've been working on lately, til the wee small hours. Will let you know about it when I'm a bit futher along with the concept. Good things take time and all that...

First post
2009 seems to be the year of new projects for me and this is just one of them. I thought this blog would be a fun way for me to keep track of my "finds".
Last week I came across a wonderful Len Castle pin dish from the 1950's.
